PSY’s Gangnam Style Hits 4 Billion Views On You Tube

PSY’s Gangnam Style has made history yet again when it soured passed the 4 billion views on YouTube.

Gangnam Style, which was the first Music video to ever hit 1 billion views on YouTube is still continuing to take steps as the most-watched K-pop music video ever.

The music video of PSY has just hit 4 billion views today. Which is much higher than BLACKPINK’s music video “DDU-DU DDU-DU”  which has 1.5 billion views. It is the second most-watched K-pop video on YouTube.

PSY originally released the music video for “Gangnam Style” by YG Entertainment on July 15, 2012, meaning that it took the song about eight years, seven months, and 20 days to reach 4 billion views.

The song and its music video went viral in August 2012 and which has influenced popular culture worldwide. Gangnam Style even hit number two on Billboard Hot 100, which was a huge achievement for the K-Pop industry as it got its reorganization. By the end of 2012, “Gangnam Style” had topped the music charts of more than 30 countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
